Mark Sanchez is pretty good and would get my vote for Rookie of the Year–although we like him much better as a Jet than a USC Trojan! Speaking of Pac-10 football, we just went to the Oregon State Beavers Game this weekend. OSU upset and dashed USC’s (and Mark Sanchez’s) dreams of going undefeated just last year…
Didn’t realize you were such a college football fan…course, if my team were the Redskins, I’d probably start following college football too…
For the pro’s, I root for the Seahawks, aka, Sea-Chickens these days…>;)
(and yes, Matt Hasselbeck is injured….again!) *sigh*
You’re not a Redskins fan anymore? And you went with the Seahawks instead? I can’t tell if that’s an improvement or not…you should root for a real team, like the Jets!
I hardly ever get to see Redskins games anymore, plus, Daniel Snyder (owner of the Redskins) is a douche, and Jason Campbell (Redskins QB) seems like a tool. The Seahawks are on all the time, so it wasn’t a difficult transition. People don’t seem to be as passionate about any one team (probably because Seattle is usually mediocre) as they are back East. I’m a much bigger Pac-10 football fan though, because it’s hard to get excited about a team playing to be .500 rather than trying to make the playoffs.
(PS: 3-1 is still respectable–and much more respectable than Seattle)
